La Cola

The latest addition to the Caracol is "La Cola" or "The Tail!"

Yes we have added a tail to the Caracol in the form of a brand new chill out space / multi use room! We have doubled the common area of the downstairs by breaking through the wall taking over the premises next door.

Now you can go downstairs and turn left to your new lounge. Can any of you veterans remember the past occupants? The inauguration photos might give you a clue!

Cosy

The feel of the place is totally in keeping with the Caracol with its hand made furniture and book shelves. It has the same cosy feeling that encourages you to kick off your shoes and make yourselves at home.

We have put in a music system and projector, so for those rare rainy days you have much more space to hang out, play games, read, listen to music or enjoy our movie nights. Just like the Caracol it has free WIFI connectivity and we have added another computer terminal for those of you travelling light with no computers. There is another bathroom with shower to ease the pressure on the Caracol, so we now offer 6 bathrooms and have space for washing / drying facilities for clothes.

The common area was designed with Yoga groups in mind, (any experienced yoga teachers out there please contact us!) Flamenco dancing classes and Spanish classes will also happen here. For schools and universities this could be a useful study space for your group.

We are building up a collection of new and second hand books for sale in English, German, French and Spanish plus any other languages that come our way. ( We buy and sell quality books.) There is now much more space for the old book exchange where you decide the quality of the collection.

For those of you wanting to explore Cadiz by bicycle we have 4 beautiful beach cruisers for rent. During the surf season there will be surf boards and boogie boards in the mix. At last we have the space for it all!
