Celebrating our tenth year of looking after travellers, backpackers and students in Cadiz
Casa Caracol is about slowing down, unwinding, having fun and meeting people from all over the world in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We've hand built this hostel from the ground up over the last 10 years which gives it a unique character that the corporate chains can never match.
Over the winter we've renovated the hostel, built custom-made wooden furniture and added even more common space - we now have more than twice the amount of common area to sleeping space. Check out our improvements:

- new hand-made wooden beds
- beach cruiser bikes for rent
- home cinema screen for movie nights
- 2 new bathrooms - 6 in total now
- new breakfast menu - hot breakfasts - pancakes now served 10.00 - 11.30
- daily evening meals available at backpacker prices cooked by our resident chef
- log burning stove for warm winter nights
- new wi-fi repeater for internet access all over the hostel
More than just a bed for the night, the Caracol has evolved over the years since 2003 into a social hub. Now we can offer even more events and activites using our new extension, the Caracol's Tail. Have a look at our facebook page to see what others are saying about staying here.
On the environmental side we promote recycling, energy efficiency and water saving in this dry region. Stay for a week and your seventh night is free.
