Casa Caracol is about slowing down, unwinding, having fun and meeting people from all over the world in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The feel and vibe of the Caracol is constantly renewed by the staff, and makes the place what it is ..... a place for travellers by travellers. It is a little bubble in the heart of old Cadiz, a place to take a break from your travels as you check out the town and relax on the beach or swing in a hammock.

At heart it is a cosy little backpackers with lots of character. It is a hand made hostel and has evolved over the years since 2003, it is not an aseptic chain type hostel with no soul.

The kitchen and common area together with the terrace and the Cola de Caracol provide great spaces for the social side of life. You will find an extensive and eclectic music collection. For those cosy winter nights we have a wood burning stove. You can cook your own meals provided you clean up after yourselves! On the environmental side we promote recycling, energy efficiency and also focus on water efficiency in this dry region. Stay for a week and your seventh night is free.
